On April 2005 the possible causes and remediation actions taken in the incident that occurred on December 22nd along the GNL pipeline were presented to the Peruvian Civil Society. In this opportunity the monitoring and environmental follow-up actions, as well as a summary of the preliminary investigation results were also explained.

On March 8-9 2004, a workshop took place to revise the last versions of the Access Control, Monitoring of Biodiversity, Erosion Control and Revegetation Plans and approve the performance criteria recommended.

Through the different documents below, the criteria is disclosed, such as it was approved on the workshops, signed not only by the Peruvian Civil Society´s exoerts but by all the participants. Furthermore, some "Universal Principles" are presented that will be the same for all the plans

In a meeting held in Washington DC on October 2002 with representatives from the main NGOs (Amazon Alliance, CI, Oxfam America, FoE, RAN, Smithsonian Institution, TNC, WWF, IUCN, Comaru, Cedia), the MLAs, the Peruvian government, the United States government and representatives of the consortia, a working paper was presented in which the issues stated by the different stakeholders are answered.

Next, the main issues and their corresponding answers are exposed.
